Have An Assessment

Many aged people are eligible for Australian Government subsidised aged care

To determine your eligibility for residential care, home care packages, short term care, respite care and transition care, you will need to be assessed by the Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT).
To determine your eligibility for home support through the Commonwealth home support programme, you will need to be assessed by the Regional Assessment Service (RAS).

Have an assessment with the Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT)

In order to receive financial support for aged care services from the Australian Government, it is necessary to have an assessment from the Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) to determine your eligibility for aged care services. Have an assessment with the Regional Assessment Service (RAS)

In order to determine your eligibility for the Commonwealth home support programme you will need to be assessed by the Regional Assessment Service (RAS). As above, you can contact My Aged Care on 1800 200 422 or by visiting www.myagedcare.gov.au.
