Aged Care Prepare came into existence to support older Australians and their families to navigate through their retirement and aged care journeys. We saw a need in the community and responded to it, by providing our readers with the information and guidance they needed to enable them to make informed decisions about their care options. Aged Care Prepare continues to assist the ageing community, their relatives and friends, by answering the questions that they have regarding aging, aged care, and accommodation options.

Our team have extensive industry experience in nursing and aged care. Members of our team have enjoyed diverse careers working in the private and public health sectors. Our team have worked in medical and surgical nursing, rehabilitation, day hospitals, retirement villages, residential aged care facilities and in the community. In addition to this we have a certified Case Manager as a part of our team who has specialized in home care as a home care package manager.

Renae | Co-Founder and Editorial Director   

Renae is a partner and key content producer at Aged Care Prepare. She is also an experienced registered nurse and certified case manager. After working in the aged care and community care sectors for some years, she noticed that older Australians and their families were often uncertain about their aged care options. Her passion for delivering high quality care and support to the ageing community is forever growing, and her aim is to support, educate and guide Australians in understanding their aged care options.

Nicky | Co-Founder   

Nicky is a partner and marketing lead at Aged Care Prepare. With 30 years in marketing and related fields, Nicky’s involvement in Aged Care Prepare is a personal one. An Aussie currently living overseas, she was recently looking into aged care solutions for a loved one and she discovered a gap in the market – the lack of a friendly voice with the right advice specifically tailored to her needs.
